Equivalence refers to determining the equivalence of diplomas received from overseas education institutions recognized by the Higher Education Council with the diplomas awarded by educational institutions in Turkey.
Diploma Equivalency Certificate is the document that indicates the equivalence field and level requested for the diploma is equivalent to country’s system.
Diploma translation is a document generally requested by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) for equivalency procedures. Diploma translation can also be requested by institutions other than YÖK as sworn or notarized diploma translation for any applications you make. Diploma apostille approval can be requested for the original or “same as the original” version of the diploma in these translations. In this context, you can get the necessary apostille approval from the Governor’s Office, District Governor’s Office or authorized institutions abroad. Those who want to complete their undergraduate, graduate or doctoral program in universities abroad and obtain diploma equivalence in Turkey must have their diploma and transcript documents translated through notarization. Furthermore, the ones who want to continue their education abroad should send the sworn translation of the diploma they received from Turkey to the school they are accepted.
Notarized Diploma Translation
It is the process of translating a diploma, transcript or student certificate issued by any educational institution by a notary sworn translator, submitting it to a notary public and getting it approved by that notary public.
